ASHLEY EUGLEY
A little about me...
I grew up on the Coast of Maine and have spent countless hours exploring Maine's rocky beaches, forests, and waterways. These experiences taught me to appreciate nature and inspired curiosities and questions that motivate my actions, values, and efforts today.
I graduated from Lincoln Academy in 2018. Following high school, I moved to New York's Hudson Valley to attend Bard College. At Bard, I was an Environmental and Urban Studies major with a Focus Area of Economics, Policy, and Global Development. During my Senior Year at Bard, I wrote a thesis called The Elusive Rainbow Nation: Assessing Post-Apartheid Reconstruction Strategies in Johannesburg, South Africa. Although my academic career centered on the social side of environmental issues, I maintained a passion for science and supplemented my studies with community science-based internships and extracurriculars.
Although I am yet unsure about what comes after the Watson, I am interested in furthering my education and am excited to see where this incredible opportunity takes me!
